Boy Scouts
Be a Scout! That's the dream of many boys. Maybe you have seen Scouts hiking, camping, and enjoying lots of other activities. Perhaps friends who are in a troop have been telling you about the skils they are learning. If you have completed the fifth grade and are not yet 18, don't wait a minute longer to get in on all the fun Scouts have and join a troop.
Scouting provides boys learning opportunities through outdoor activities, leadership responsibilities, and just plan old fun. As the boy learns, practices and even teaches the scouting skills, he is recognized for his accomplishments through rank advancement. The rank advancement is often called the “Trail to Eagle.” Eagle Scout is the highest rank a boy can achieve in the Boy Scouts and widely recognized as a significant accomplishment.
